Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the company’s financial records, prepare financial statements, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, have a deep understanding of accounting principles, and demonstrate excellent organizational and communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain accurate and complete financial records, including journals, ledgers, and trial balances.
Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Reconciliations: Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting activities.
Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax filings, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Audit Support: Assist with both internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and information.
Financial Analysis: Conduct variance analysis on financial statements to identify trends and anomalies.
Expense Management: Monitor and control departmental expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Compliance: Stay updated on new accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations.
Software & Systems: Maintain and use accounting systems/software to record, store, and analyze financial data.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred).
Experience: 2-5 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
Technical Skills: Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Xero) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.).
Knowledge: Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and tax regulations.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide strategic insights.
Attention to Detail: High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
Organizational Skills: Strong time management and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA).
Experience in corporate accounting or public accounting.
Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, NetSuite).
Working Conditions:
Office environment with occasional extended hours during peak periods (e.g., tax season, month-end closing).
