Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager/Controller to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations including A/R, A/P, time billing, payroll, G/L, tax payments, and inventory control.
- Assign and audit the work of the accounting staff, ensuring the implementation and maintenance of proper accounting systems and procedures.
- Knowledge of GAAP financial and accounting principles and internal control procedures.
- Perform all basic accounting procedures, financial statement preparation, month-end closing, journal entries, general ledger maintenance, annual budget preparation, inventory roll forwards, and fixed assets and margin analysis; prepare supporting schedules for financial statements preparation
- Act as the primary liaison with auditors for financial and 401K audits.
- Communicate with customers regarding past-due invoices and provide regular updates to the management team.
- Ensure all active projects are supported by valid contracts.
- Review, analyze, and reconcile general ledger accounts and investment transactions.
- Perform financial analysis of operations on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA is a plus).
- 5-10 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in public accounting or a similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and practices.
- Proven leadership and supervisory skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in business software such as CRM systems, financial management tools, and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
