Our client, a pioneering organization in the fields of Augmented, Virtual, and Mixed-Reality, is on the lookout for a strategic and accomplished Chief Financial Officer to join their forward-thinking team in Orlando, Florida. Position Overview

As Chief Financial Officer, you will work in close partnership with the executive team to define and execute the company's financial strategies. This role is ideal for a seasoned financial executive with proven expertise in navigating complex financial frameworks, especially within the defense and government contracting space.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Shape long-term financial strategies in collaboration with the CEO and executive team, ensuring alignment with the company's mission.

Drive financial insights through budgeting, forecasting, and cost-optimization analysis to support revenue growth.

Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate investment prospects, pricing tactics, and acquisition opportunities.

Regularly report financial performance, trends, and KPIs to the executive team and board.

Lead and develop a high-performing team of three (including two Accountants and a Director of Finance & Compliance), fostering an environment of continuous improvement and collaboration.

Desired Profile:

Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in financial leadership, particularly within the defense or government contracting sectors.

Extensive understanding of DCAA and DCMA regulations, with a strong compliance background.

Proven record of managing financial operations in regulated industries, including expertise in federal, state, and local payroll tax requirements.

Demonstrated ability to implement financial strategies that enhance growth and profitability.

U.S. citizenship with eligibility for a Security Clearance.

Qualifications:

Relevant certifications such as CPA, CDFM, or equivalent industry credentials.
