Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the company's financial planning and decision-making processes.
- Develop and execute investment strategies, with a focus on cash flow and liquidity management.
- Oversee fundraising efforts and manage the capital structure to ensure sustainable growth.
- Supervise finance personnel, including controllers and treasurers, while fostering a culture of excellence.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and external stakeholders.
- Deliver accurate financial forecasts and reports to guide executive decisions.
- Implement and oversee financial IT systems to support operational efficiency.
- Ensure full compliance with legal and regulatory financial requirements.
- Manage all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, and financial reporting.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in senior financial leadership, ideally within the transportation or logistics sector.
- Expertise in financial laws, risk management, and strategic investment planning.
- Strong analytical skills and a history of using data-driven insights to drive business success.
- Proficiency in financial management software (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft Office.
- Exceptional leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate teams and foster collaboration.
- Superior communication skills, with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization and external partners.
- Strategic thinker with a keen eye for profitability, liquidity, and long-term company value.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Master's in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Professional certifications such as CPA or CFA are preferred.
- Industry experience in transportation or logistics is REQUIRED.
Experience:
- At least 10 years of experience in financial roles, with 5 years in a financial leadership capacity.
- Demonstrated success in driving profitability and financial growth.
- Experience presenting to boards of directors and engaging with shareholders.
