Assistant Controller
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with accounting team to coordinate and manage accounting functions and programs.
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial analyses and reports.
• Record end journal entries, maintain fixed assets, and calculate monthly depreciation.
• Reconcile accounts and ensure their accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Compile and prepare necessary documentation for external auditors and tax return preparers.
• Provide support for human resource matters, including payroll processing through ADP.
• Stay updated with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and their applications.
• Develop and document standard operating procedures for book close, annual audits, and overall internal financial controls.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• 0-2 years of progressive accounting experience
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel
