Description
- Maintain the organization's general ledger, tracking assets, liabilities, expenses, and revenues.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close and financial reporting.
- Assist internal and/or external auditors with periodic auditing or the organization's financial records and statements.
- Review bank account reconciliations to manage cash flow.
- Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.
- Support strategic planning initiatives with financial insights and recommendations.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll process.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.
- Manage Fixed Asset reporting, including project implementations and tax depreciation.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and other FP&A analysis.
- Create company-wide SOPs to document internal processes and controls.
- Perform regular Job Cost Analysis.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience within accounting and finance. CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Strong computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (especially in Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and accounting software (especially Vista Viewpoint).
- Strong leadership and team management skills. Ability to develop and mentor others.
