Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the bank's financial activities, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and capital allocation.
Develop and implement financial strategies that support the bank's overall business objectives.
Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and regulatory requirements.
Manage risk by analyzing the bank's financial performance, identifying potential risks, and developing mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
Lead the accounting department, including developing and maintaining internal controls, and ensure adherence to bank policies.
Partner with business unit leaders to provide financial analysis, guidance, and support in achieving their strategic goals.
Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory agencies.
Stay abreast of current trends in the banking industry and advise senior management on relevant financial matters.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior financial leadership role within the banking industry.
Proven track record of success in developing and implementing financial strategies.
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Deep understanding of GAAP and regulatory compliance requirements for banking institutions.
Leadership experience in managing and motivating a team.
