What You Will Be Doing:
Oversee the accurate and timely processing of invoices, purchase orders, and payments. Ensure proper coding and allocation of expenses and monitor and reconcile accounts payable ledgers.
Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports. Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements, and collaborate with auditors during audits.
Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely payments.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies. Implement and maintain automated systems to streamline workflows.
Participate in special projects and initiatives and support other finance and accounting functions.
What we need from you:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in accounts payable or a related finance role.
Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, general ledger, and accounting principles.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
We'd Be Delighted if You Have:
CPA or CMA certification.
Experience with ERP systems including A/P software.
Knowledge of procurement and inventory processes.
