Vice President Market Chief Financial Officer
Overview:
Supporting the Market President, Chief Nursing Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Clinical Officer (CCO), this position will provide financial, operational and strategic oversight for the market. The Market CFO is responsible for the financial operations within the market including but not limited to month end close analysis, monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, performance management, capital allocation process and business cases related to growth and capital projects. Position reports directly to the Novant Health SVP of Operational Finance with a dotted line to the Market President.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field required. Master's degree or CPA preferred.
Experience: At least 10 years of progressive experience in financial management, preferably in the healthcare industry.
Additional Skills (required): Demonstrated leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
Ability to work through influence by building relationships and collaborating with executives from other functions within the company.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle complex and ambiguous situations.
History of hiring, retaining and developing teams, including building succession plan at each level of your organization.
Proficient in financial software, systems, and tools, such as ERP, EHR, BI, Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
Knowledge of healthcare accounting, finance, and reimbursement principles and practices, such as GAAP, Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and changing environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
High level of integrity, ethics, and professionalism, with a commitment to quality and excellence.
