Responsible for the financial period close and internal & external financial statement, analysis, and key business report preparation.

Essential Duties:
Performs process management by monitoring activities and using process tools such as: financial statements, billings in excess of earned revenues and construction backlog, gross profit, and sales/productivity reports.

Analyzes and prepares financial reports for all business units.

Works in an interface capacity with the auditing firms during external audits. Assists the Controller and CFO with audits and other items as needed.

Prepares Tax Returns for all assigned company locations.

Prepares journal entries, reconciliations and account analysis on a monthly basis.

Develops and implements automation and process enhancements for operational systems and procedures.

Oversees the department operations within their area(s) of responsibility and/or expertise.

Reviews the evaluations of Partners in subordinate functions and may make hiring, termination or promotional recommendations.

Ensures that the business unit is properly staffed with qualified financial staff, each having the technical skills and certifications needed to perform their job requirements. Actively participates in and recommends candidates for hire.

Familiarizes functional managers and Partners with company rules, policies and procedures and ensures all are operating within company guidelines and according to state and local codes.

Maintain an efficient system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over treasury activities and provide support for regulatory reporting

Maintain strong communications with banks and other financial service providers

Develop treasury reporting dashboards appropriate for various stakeholders and track KPI

Manage excess operating cash to obtain optimum interest revenue

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or Finance is required.

CPA, CRIS, CCIFP certifications preferred
