We are now looking for a Financial Reporting Accountant! You will be joining our Finance team in office based out of NVIDIA’s Global Resource Center (GRC) in Bangalore, India reporting directly to the GRC Manager. You will be primarily responsible for financial accounting, compliance and tax reporting and maintaining the books and records in SAP. You will ensure that the data is accurate, complete, and aligns with Company policies and compliant with local GAAP. You will also coordinate with the GL team based in the US and other stakeholders on an as-needed basis to resolve any issues or queries.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Prepare the financial statements and supporting schedules (PBCs) of the Company’s subsidiaries for statutory audits and respond to auditor inquiries
- Identify and post all necessary entries in local books to prepare annual accounts as per local GAAP
- Ensure timely completion of statutory audits as per agreed timelines
- Prepare general ledger reconciliations for designated GL accounts
- Coordinate with legal to get the annual accounts signed by the Authorized Signatories and filed with respective statutory authorities
- Prepare annual tax return of subsidiaries by coordinating with the tax consultant and file in a timely manner
- Ensure payment of corporate tax dues in a timely manner
- Maintain the VAT / GST register of identified jurisdictions and file refund claims
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures and adherence to local laws and regulations
- Ensure compliance with the Company's SOX internal control processes
- Work with other teams across functions and geographies to resolve issues during statutory audits and tax audits
- Learn the complexities and compliance matters in other geographies in order to back-fill when others are out of office or on leave
- A Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2-3 years post-qualification experience
- Experience in preparation of financial statements as per local GAAP (Ind-AS/ FR102/ German GAAP)
- Knowledge of ERP system of accounting (SAP preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/Outlook/PowerPoint) required
- Good analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills to interact with auditors/consultants across the world
- A self-starter with ability to work with minimum supervision to resolve moderate to complex problems
- Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and adhere to timelines
- Strong desire to gain knowledge and drive for excellence
