Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Part-Time Accountant.
The ideal candidate will have experience with various accounting tasks, including invoicing, tax filings, and coordination with vendors and clients. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with our CA and other team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Proforma and Tax Invoices: Prepare and manage proforma invoices, tax invoices, and ensure they comply with legal requirements.
E-Way Bills: Generate and manage e-way bills for shipments as per regulatory guidelines.
Bank Remittances: Handle bank remittances, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
Expense and Purchase Entries: Record all expenses and purchases in the accounting system accurately.
Account Reconciliation: Coordinate with all parties to reconcile and match accounting records. Resolve any discrepancies.
Payment Follow-ups: Follow up with vendors and clients regarding payment queries or outstanding balances.
Reporting: Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, including expense summaries and reconciliation reports.
Book-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date book-keeping records.
Salary Slips: Generate and manage salary slips for employees.
GST Filings: File GST returns including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Chartered Accountant (CA) for financial reporting, audits, and other accounting tasks.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience in accounting roles, including invoice preparation, tax filings, and bank reconciliations.
Familiarity with accounting software and proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).
Understanding of GST regulations and experience with GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B filings.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
