We are seeking a qualified candidate for this Controller opportunity as there is an upcoming retirement of the outgoing Controller.
Key Responsibilities of the Controller:
- Manage and oversee the financial operations of a 60+ Million dollar construction/manufacturing company
- Work closely with project managers and senior management to provide accurate financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
- Implement and maintain effective financial controls and procedures to monitor project costs, revenue, and overall financial performance.
- Own the payroll processing
- Monitor and analyze project financial data to identify trends, potential risks, and opportunities for cost-saving measures.
- Prepare financial reports, budgets, and financial statements for senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance financial and accounting systems for the project.
- Manage AP and AR team
- Provide financial guidance and support for decision-making processes related to the project.
- Oversee the financial team and coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment with project goals.
Preferred Qualifications of the Controller position:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related experience
- 3+ years of Construction/Manufacturing accounting (POC, WIP. etc)
