About the role

As a Supply Chain Finance Lead, you will oversee the vertical for India and SAARC, covering planning, sourcing, manufacturing, and logistics. This role involves being a strategic partner to the Supply Chain function by providing insights for optimal decision-making, monitoring costs, and ensuring compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic planning and financial analysis
    • Working closely with the Supply Chain team in preparing the AOP and managing delivery as per targets
    • Gross margin analysis and forecasting - which directly impacts product pricing decisions
    • Monitoring key KPIs related to costs, efficiency, and financial performance
    • Working closely with the Sourcing Head to identify opportunities for taking inventory positions based on inflationary/deflationary trends
  • Cost optimisation and efficiency
    • Support and drive various cost optimisation initiatives and inventory reduction to optimise working capital
    • Controlling business waste, including RM/PM obsolescence management
  • Support for digital and automation projects
    • Support on all major digital and automation projects driven by Supply Chain
  • Compliance and financial controls
    • Providing insights for and being part of various negotiations - RM/PM and Capex
    • Ensure adequate financial controls around Supply Chain processes and compliance with internal policies
    • Working with the Shared Service Centre on GST and audit-related matters


  • Who are we looking for?

    Education:
    • Chartered Accountant


    Experience:
    • 10-12 years of experience in FMCG/Manufacturing/Pharma
    • Stints in Procurement Finance, Supply Chain Finance, Plant Finance, Controlling and FP&A preferred


    Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
    • Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis
    • Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
    • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across cross-functional teams
    • Experience with ERP systems and financial software
    • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
    • Strong negotiation skills and business acumen
