We are recruiting for a Associate Consultant in the Global Compliance Management Services (GCMS) team - Statutory Accounting. Working as a Consultant in this team, your responsibilities will include:
  • Preparation of Statutory Accounts under IFRS / US GAAP
  • To provide technical and transaction-based accounting advisory support and research to international KPMG teams and clients, including implementation assistance with new accounting standards.
  • Assist with US Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) regulatory filings for spin-offs, carve-outs, initial public offerings (IPO), debt offerings, and other acquisition filings for both domestic and cross-border transactions.
  • Provide conversion services to U.S. and foreign registered companies to / from U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Support business development initiatives.

Qualifications

Education / professional

qualifications

CA / CPA / ACCA / Semi Qualified / Post Graduate

Prior Experience:
  • 1+yrs (or 3+ yrs. for semi qualified or 4+ yrs for post graduate) of post qualification financial audit experience with a public accounting or advisory firm or similar organization,
  • Must have experience in preparation of Statutory Accounts under IFRS and US GAAP.
  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field from an accredited college/university


Project and Team management exposure
  • Credible record of operating as an independent contributor and also working as part of a team during larger projects

Technical skills:

Understanding of US GAAP and IFRS framework and ability to research technical topics efficiently and effectively.

Demonstrated ability to learn and succeed in a fast-paced environment
