Divisional Controller
Onsite - San Antonio, Texas
Base Comp: $185k-210k + Bonus
The Divisional Controller will play a critical role in supporting the Chief Financial Officer in various aspects of the Company's accounting and finance functions. This position will contribute to the development, management, and oversight of financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, adherence to policies and procedures, effective tax management, and insightful operational analysis.

Qualifications:
CPA designation with a background in public accounting.
10+ years minimum Accounting experience; 5+ years in Manager role.
Mergers & Acquisitions experience, strongly preferred
Ability to foster team development and provide mentorship.
Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple tasks with tight deadlines.

The Divisional Controller will play a critical role in supporting the Chief Financial Officer in various aspects of the Company's accounting and finance functions. This position will contribute to the development, management, and oversight of financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, adherence to policies and procedures, effective tax management, and insightful operational analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the accounting operations of the Company, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll.
- Steer the timely issuance of accurate financial statements.
- Drive the GL team including complex accounting transactions including M&A, month end close, inter-company activity and eliminations, and consolidations.
- Manage preparation all necessary information for quarterly and year-end reporting, annual audits, and tax filings.
- Manage the maintenance of a well-documented system of accounting policies and procedures, implementing controls to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal standards.
- Collaborate with divisional management to drive profitability and efficiency improvements
- Perform financial risk assessments and develop internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP, financial and various statutory policies and requirements
- Oversee audits within the division and implement corrective actions where necessary
- Manage the division's compliance with tax, legal, and regulatory requirements
- Leverage technology and drive process improvement and change management activities across the Finance spectrum of activities and responsibilities
- Coordinate with corporate finance to consolidate divisional financials into company-wide reports
- Assist Finance leadership on corporate initiatives that impact operations or reporting
