Role Overview: As the Sustainable Finance Director, you will play a key role in developing and implementing the company's sustainable finance strategy. You will be responsible for leading the integration of sustainable finance principles into the company's operations and investment decisions, ensuring alignment with global sustainability goals and best practices. Additionally, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive the adoption of sustainable finance practices across the industry.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement the company's sustainable finance strategy, in line with global sustainability goals and best practices.

Ensure integration of sustainable finance principles into the company's operations and investment decisions.

Lead the development of sustainable finance products and services, including green bonds, sustainability-linked loans, and impact investment funds.

Collaborate with internal teams to embed sustainability considerations into risk management, due diligence, and reporting processes.

Stay up to date with regulatory developments and industry trends in sustainable finance.

Engage with external stakeholders, including clients, regulators, and industry groups, to promote sustainable finance practices.

Oversee the measurement and reporting of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance.

Provide guidance and training to internal teams on sustainable finance concepts and practices.

Contribute to thought leadership and industry publications on sustainable finance.

Requirements

Master's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in sustainable finance or related roles.

In-depth knowledge of sustainable finance principles, standards, and best practices.

Familiarity with international sustainability frameworks, such as the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD).

Proven track record in developing and implementing sustainable finance strategies.

Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Ability to think strategically and drive organizational change.

Experience in financial modeling and impact assessment methodologies.

Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.

Passion for sustainability and a strong commitment to driving positive change.
