Overview:
This position will report to the Senior Director, Rebate Accounting and will oversee the rebate payment functions of one of our Business units. As a people manager,the Finance Director will review the work of the Rebate Analysts on the team. This role requires a self-motivated attitude, great organizational skills, and demonstrated analytical skills.

Responsibilities:
Oversee the entire rebate payment process for one of the companies BU's. The process includes but is not limited to the following items: implementing rebate financial terms for new and existing clients, estimating payments, calculating payments, creating payment reporting, Ad hoc client reporting, supporting client services and ensuring timeliness of payments.

Review and prepare documents used by the analysts calculating payments.

Approve rebate client payments and ensure completion. This involves checking the calculation, the rates and performing variance analysis for reasonableness.

Develop processes and controls to ensure client changes to rebate terms are regularly reviewed and implemented timely and accurately.

Drive change and improvement - Director will lead the workstream to drive enhanced automation to the core processes using existing tools. This will require coordination with a technical support team, parallel testing, soliciting feedback from internal partners for reporting standards, creating project plan to phase in new processes, ensuring the business team understands how to incorporate logic changes when needed, and identifying opportunities for additional reporting and outputs to drive efficiencies.

Calculate and prepare reporting for marquee rebate clients; provide a high level of support for inquiries and ad hoc reporting needs.

Prepare rebate data and reporting needed by internal partners - including underwriting, client services and client audit requests.

Provide feedback on proposed rebate terms and reporting for new clients and renewals

Assist with cash flow projections and other analytics, special projects, and accounting functions as needed.

Qualifications:
Education:

Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, or related

Experience:

10+ years of experience

5+ years' experience managing

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Demonstrate strong leadership of a finance or accounting team

Demonstrate strong understanding of analytics using large data sets

Experience with developing solutions to improve processes

Experience with SQL preferred

Advanced Excel Skills required

Contract experience preferred

Demonstrate ability to manage multiple deadlines while delivering excellent results

Demonstrate ability to work with internal partners to provide a high level of customer service

PBM experience preferred

Project management experience a plus

Rebate experience a plus

Alteryx experience a plus
