Operations Controller Job Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage day-to-day financial operations for 3 manufacturing plant locations to drive operational efficiency and profitability.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and operational teams to develop and implement financial strategies that support business growth and cost management.
- Conduct detailed variance analysis to monitor production costs, inventory levels, and other key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure optimal financial performance.
- Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Support private equity stakeholders by providing financial insights, preparing investor reports, and facilitating due diligence processes for potential acquisitions or divestitures.
- Work closely with Plant Managers to determine cost saving initiatives
- Monthly travel to 3 plant locations required
Operations Controller Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance Required, CPA or CMA Preferred
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, holding previous supervisory roles
- Manufacturing industry experience required
- Lean Six Sigma Certification Preferred
- Ability to travel monthly
