Job Description: Direct Tax Associate - First-Time Tax Implementation

Transfer Pricing/ IFRS/ TAXS

Key points: -

1. Have worked at least for 2 years in Corporate Tax

2. Drafted opinions and advisory e-mails on corporate tax issues

3. Have prepared power point presentations.

4. Have basic knowledge on Transfer Pricing and International tax.

5. Can communicate fluently in English.

6. Have good skills of Microsoft office.

Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Direct Tax Associate to join our team and play a key role in the first-time implementation of direct tax strategies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and compliant tax processes as we navigate initial tax planning and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Tax Planning and Strategy Implementation:

o Collaborate with the tax and finance teams to understand business operations and goals.

o Assist in developing and implementing initial direct tax planning strategies.

o Ensure that tax strategies align with the organization's objectives and comply with applicable laws.

2. Data Analysis and Preparation:

o Work with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial data for tax analysis.

o Assist in preparing documentation and reports required for the first-time tax implementation.

o Verify data accuracy and completeness to support tax planning and compliance efforts.

3. Compliance Support:

o Assist in preparing and filing initial direct tax returns in compliance with regulations.

o Stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations that may impact implementation.

o Collaborate with senior tax professionals to address any compliance issues that may arise.

4. Training and Communication:

o Provide support in communicating tax strategies and changes to internal stakeholders.

o Offer training and guidance to other departments on the implementation of new tax processes.

o Address queries and concerns related to the first-time tax implementation.

5. Documentation and Record-Keeping:

o Maintain organized and up-to-date records of the first-time tax implementation process.

o Ensure documentation is readily available for internal and external audit purposes.

o Assist in preparing materials for any necessary reporting or documentation requirements.

6. Transfer Pricing Compliance:

o Conduct detailed transfer pricing analyses to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

o Prepare and document transfer pricing policies, ensuring alignment with international standards.

o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data for transfer pricing documentation.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Relevant certifications or pursuing professional qualifications is a plus.

• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and tax concepts.

• Excellent analytical and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Ability to adapt to changing tax regulations and a willingness to learn.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with tax software is advantageous.
