Job Description
PAI/Brinks is seeking a FP&A director supporting its North American businesses. This is a key role, and the individual will partner with Finance teams and Operating leadership to drive analysis and planning activities. This position both as an individual contributor and manager will play a critical role in day-to-day execution while providing the leadership team with meaningful performance analysis, insights, and recommendations. In addition, this role will drive Finance transformation by leading and developing the FP&A team alongside their creation and usage of financial tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support the forecasting and reporting of PAI FP&A processes including Annual Plan, STRAT (multi-year plan), Monthly Rolling Forecasts, and preparation of Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews
Leverage and develop tools to provide value-add analysis and insights for multiple lines of business and work closely with the line of business leaders, finance teams, and operations leaders.
Drive continuous improvement of finance functions to produce innovation in reporting, planning and analysis while focusing on standardization and repeatability
Provide clear and impactful insights from PAI Business Results
Support strategic business initiatives, assess and report their impact vs expectations
Partner with leaders across organizations and functions to provide analytical support and drive informed business decisions
Manage a team of up to 2 finance professionals
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or quantitative field
7-10+ years of progressive financial experience demonstrating increasing responsibility, scope, and complexity across multiple functions (FP&A, Operations, Commercial, etc.)
5+ years of experience managing deliverable and a team in a fast paced environment
Demonstrated excellence in financial analysis, complex modeling, and decision support business case s
Experience with ERP systems and planning and consolidation tools; including, PeopleSoft Financials, Oracle, HFM, Hyperion Essbase, and SmartView
Proven ability to build relationships and influence peers, subordinates, executive management and stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong Excel, Microsoft Suite and modeling skills
Experience manipulating large datasets including the extraction of data from databases
Experience with Business Intelligence tools and/or SQL
Demonstrated experience in all financial statements (Income, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
Knowledgeable of the accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
MBA, CPA, CMA desired
Professional Skills:
Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills
Excellent interpersonal/communication and presentation skills
Ability to prioritize quickly in a dynamic and changing environments
Detail oriented, strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
Drive to meet commitments and deadlines
