The Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) serves as a financial liaison for multiple business partners and functions. The incumbent provides business partners with financial reporting and analysis that are used for strategic and tactical decision-making. The Manager, FP&A works with various levels of management to develop, interpret, and implement financial and accounting concepts or techniques related to strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting to drive business results. The role is also responsible to support systems, data management and business analysis to support tactical and strategic insight to management.

Responsibilities:
Prepares financial and business-related analysis and research in such areas as financial and expense performance, sales trend, working capital, and performance metrics.

Supports Gross-To-Net revenue management system including data management, monthly close setup and snapshots, reporting and analysis, P&L and Balance Sheet reporting and accruals management.

Supports the processing, payment and tracking of government and commercial rebates, chargebacks and other Gross-To-Net revenue deductions.

Prepares month-end accounting entries, performs reconciliations of general ledger accounts, performs month-end review of results and assists / liaisons with Accounting personnel to ensure accuracy of financial records and reporting.

Prepares monthly financial review package to management, including commenting on variances to plan, forecast and prior year.

Data analytics: gathers, manages, and manipulates data from multiple sources for analysis; identifies trends, extracts insights, synthesizes data from multiple sources into business information and delivers

actionable presentations of findings.

Supports the preparation of annual budgets, operating plans, and forecasts in consultation with the business leader(s). Analyzes trends in revenue, expense, capital expenditures and other related areas.

Partners with senior and executive management on ad-hoc and what-if analysis and special projects.

Prepares, maintains and develops financial models, financial planning and reporting systems and tools.

Delivers presentations to various levels of management about financial planning and analysis.

Adheres to established best practices, procedures and processes to drive best in class forecasting & planning, business insight and analysis, and to ensure compliance with all regulations.

Promotes a culture of continuous quality improvement; brings new ideas and recommendations to the attention of the Associate Director and FP&A Team.

Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Accounting or Finance. MBA in Finance is preferred. CPA, CMA or CFA is a plus.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Finance and/or Accounting

Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.

Hands-on systems experience: SAP/ERP, Tableau, multi-dimensional financial planning and reporting (Jedox, Hyperion, SAP BW etc.), Matlab/R/Python is a plus.

Sound understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and principles of financial analysis

Strong budget management and reporting skills

Skilled at financial analysis; provides clear, compelling and sound financial recommendations to one or more business units

Impeccable professional integrity; provides guidance in line with same

Data modelling and forecasting skills

Outstanding organizational skills; ability to manage concurrent projects within tight deadlines while maintaining excellent service to internal customers

Analytical thinker; resourceful problem-solver

Persuasive interpersonal and communication skills including formal presentation skills; ability to work with all levels of employees up to senior executive levels

Strong PC skills including Word, PowerPoint and advanced Excel

Good understanding of statistics and probability is a plus

Must be willing to travel up to 5-10% within the U.S. and Canada

The salary range for this position is $97,000 - $135,000. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary may be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state and depending on the role), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.

This position is eligible to participate in our annual Short-Term Incentive (STI) program. Specific information about the plan including eligibility rules and target, will be furnished upon hire.
