Overview:
Job Title: Senior Associate, Finance
Job Location: Williamsport, PA
To assist in the planning, organizing, implementation, and execution of the financial, managerial, and cost accounting activities of the facility under the general direction of the Williamsport Site Controller.
Responsibilities:
Prepares product and project cost estimates and pricing recommendations using historical data, estimates and projections.
Coordinates project cost estimates at completion and profitability analysis with program and functional management.
Creates monthly cost
reports to aid project management.
Contributes to the Month End Close and Month end Reporting package.
Communicates complex financial data and analyses to management and other employees.
Assists in the preparation of monthly reporting Package.
Assists the site controller in creating the annual budget and quarterly forecasts.
Works with corporate finance to track Headcount and Headcount Metrics monthly.
Calculates employee utilization rates for use in Financials and forecasting.
Examines records and procedures to determine the reliability and effectiveness of internal controls and ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory policies.
Assists with periodic inventory and fixed asset verification procedures.
Assists corporate accounting in Overhead expense tracking and Inventory absorption.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is required. MBA or CPA/CMA preferred.
Two years' accounting/finance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Familiarity with project accounting is preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, with superior Excel skills.
Proficiency with ERP systems; experience with Infor LN software preferred.
Government contract accounting (FAR/CAS/TINA/DCAA) is preferred.
Proficiency with ASC606 revenue recognition is preferred.
