Our client is a 200+ engineer, Texas-based software development company that specializes in creating cloud-based enterprise solutions.
Position Overview:
The Corporate Controller will be responsible for managing the overall accounting operations of the client, including financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, and internal controls. This role is key in ensuring the accuracy of the company's financial information and will work closely with senior management to support strategic decision-making.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the client's accounting, improving the organization's financial performance, interfacing with the CPA firm (BDO), and consolidating data from subsidiaries in different countries.
The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, be highly organized and have excellent leadership skills.
You will be expected to lead the efforts in organizing/optimizing the financial growth, implementing proper internal controls, and achieving organizational targets.

Key Responsibilities:
Strong knowledge of corporate finance, GAAP, and ASC 606 (MANDATORY)
CPA from a US university
Excellent command of the Spanish language (MANDATORY)
Excellent command of the English language (MANDATORY)
Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent;
Five or more years of experience in accounting and finances
Knowledge of the services industry
Knowledge of benefit corporations is a big plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong leadership qualities
Exceptional knowledge of accounting fundamentals
Proficiency in accounting software
Be a team player
Experience with auditing and compliance.
Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) is a plus.
Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or other relevant certifications are beneficial.
