teams Assess the impact of new accounting pronouncements and collaborate with business partners to drive their companywide implementation Draft memos to document technical accounting analysis with respect to complex transactions and conclusions in a clear and concise manner Review financial statements and disclosure requirements in accordance with US GAAP and SEC guidance Draft and design accounting policies in line with US GAAP Research and advise on complex transactions e g consolidations leases share based compensation goodwill impairment software capitalization revenue recognition etc Work closely with accounting finance and business counterparts in addressing day to day business activities and associated accounting implications Assist with the research and preparation of responses to SEC comment letters and enquires Performing peer comparison analysis by researching into the companyxe2x80x99s peer financial data and make recommendations Perform technical accounting research for various adhoc accounting inquiries Participate and assist in responding to external audit requests Good analytical skills good interpersonal skills good written and oral communication skills highly organized ability to meet strict deadlines excellent customer service skills Clearly sets team priorities communicates compelling rationale and allocates proper time and resources to ensure client internal business partner needs are met Turns business priorities into actionable plans and communicates Sets clear measurable and challenging goals that are aligned with overall Finance Director of GBS Hyderabad The Experience You Bring 8 years of experience specifically in US GAAP accounting advisory Experience with accounting and financial systems preferably Oracle knowledge of Microsoft Office suite Education Certifications A Bachelorxe2x80x99s Masterxe2x80x99s Degree in Business is required with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance preferred Knowledge of Financial Services Industry preferred Certified Public Accountancy or Chartered Accountancy or CAInter or CMA a plus Shift Timings Work hours will be from 12 30 PM to 9 30 PM IST 01 30 PM to 10 30PM IST and may include
