Head of Accounts

Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Head of Accounts to join our manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and finance, with a strong understanding of manufacturing industry practices. The Head of Accounts will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including budgeting, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership and communication skills, who can effectively manage a team and collaborate with other departments to drive financial success.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial operations and accounting activities
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
• Prepare and analyze financial reports
• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Lead and mentor the accounting team
• Collaborate with other departments to support financial goals

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g. CPA, CMA) preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and finance
• Strong understanding of manufacturing industry practices
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in financial software and MS Office suite
