We are hiring Accounts Executive for a leading Hospital

Overview

The Accounts Executive at our leading hospital in West Mambalam plays a critical role in managing the financial operations and ensuring the accuracy of financial information. This position is key to maintaining the hospital's financial health and contributing to its overall success. The Accounts Executive will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting tasks, financial reporting, and assisting in financial decision-making processes.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounting software entries
  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable functions, including processing invoices and monitoring overdue accounts
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial transactions
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Generate and analyze financial reports for management review
  • Assist with tax preparation and compliance activities
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies
  • Provide support for financial decision-making and strategic planning
  • Collaborate with other teams to support financial and operational objectives
  • Participate in inventory management and cost control activities
  • Prepare and submit financial documents and reports to regulatory authorities
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of financial controls and best practices
  • Handle payroll processing and related statutory compliance activities
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding financial matters

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Proven work experience as an Accounts Executive, Accountant, or similar role
  • Sound knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
  • Good understanding of financial reporting standards and best practices
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance requirements
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information
  • Experience in healthcare or hospital accounting is a plus
  • Relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred
  • Knowledge of billing and invoicing processes
  • Experience in financial analysis and cost control is desirable
