Job Summary

The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations across multiple business units within the organization. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills to drive effective budgeting, forecasting, and cost control processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing complex financial structures and ensuring the financial health of each unit, contributing to the overall success of the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Budgeting & Forecasting:
  • Lead the annual budgeting process for multiple business units, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Monitor budget performance regularly and provide variance analysis with actionable insights.
  • Cost Control & Financial Analysis:
  • Implement and manage cost control strategies to optimize financial performance across units.
  • Conduct regular financial reviews and identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
  • Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making and long-term planning.
  • Financial Reporting:
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure the integrity of financial information.
  • Multi-Unit Financial Management:
  • Oversee the financial operations of multiple business units, ensuring consistent financial management practices.
  • Work closely with unit managers to align financial objectives with operational goals.
  • Provide financial leadership and guidance to unit controllers and finance teams.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve the efficiency of financial operations.
  • Implement best practices in budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
  • Compliance & Risk Management:
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations and corporate governance standards.
  • Manage financial risks by implementing appropriate internal controls and risk management strategies.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 3-5 years in a multi-unit management role.
  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of financial management principles, budgeting, and cost control techniques.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Excel) and ERP systems.
