Controller

One of our clients in San Antonio, Texas is looking to add a controller to their team immediately.

Job Description:

• Manage and oversee all aspects of financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, utilizing Costpoint software.
  
• Prepare and analyze cost proposals for various projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  
• Develop and monitor budgets, ensuring alignment with the company's financial goals and objectives. Track budget performance and provide timely reports to the management team.
  
• Prepare and submit cost reports and financial statements to regulatory authorities, ensuring compliance with government contract requirements.
  
• Interact with financial institutions, manage banking relationships, and oversee cash management activities.
  
• Apply your expertise in managing government contracts, understanding the intricacies of government regulations, compliance, and reporting.
  
• Implement and oversee job costing processes, ensuring accurate allocation of costs to specific projects and contracts.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  
• Extensive experience working with Costpoint software is mandatory.
  
• Proven track record in government contract accounting and financial management.
  
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulae, pivot tables, and data analysis.
  
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing a finance team.
