What You'll Do:
- Oversee month-end and year-end closings, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Review and analyze general ledger accounts for accuracy.
- Prepare quarterly financial statements and reports.
- Manage fixed assets and depreciation schedules.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies.
- Collaborate across teams for accurate financial reporting.
- Lead the accounting team, providing guidance and support.
What We're Looking For:
- Construction Accounting Expertise: Strong understanding of job costing, accounts payable/receivable, and financial statement flow.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage and guide an accounting team.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in construction accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with Timberline or Sage300 preferred.
- Credentials: CPA, CMA, or MBA is a plus, but not required.
