- Lead the monthly bank reconciliation process, promptly resolving discrepancies and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.
- Supervise accounts payable and receivable processes, monitoring payment cycles and optimizing cash flow management.
- Prepare and review financial statements, income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, providing valuable insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors, facilitating smooth audit processes and addressing inquiries.
- Manage fixed asset records and depreciation calculations, ensuring proper accounting treatment.
- Assist in regulatory reporting and compliance, ensuring adherence to banking regulations and financial reporting standards.
- Mentor and support junior accounting staff, fostering their professional development and growth.
- Continuously evaluate and improve accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or senior role within the banking or financial services industry.
- CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Thorough understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, accounting software, and financial systems.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively.
- Strong leadership abilities and a collaborative team player.
