Job Objective
As a Financial Controller, you will oversee managing and improving Cloudelligent's financial performance, as well as directing our accounting operations. You will be in responsible to manage accounting records, assessing, and managing risk, ensuring regulatory compliance, publishing financial statements, supervising accounting operations, analyzing financial data, monitoring expenditure, forecasting revenue, organizing auditing processes, and guaranteeing financial information accuracy.
Your strategic planning and exceptional numerical proficiency will assist Cloudelligent in keeping a positive revenue and financial growth, constructing sound financial strategies, implementing proper internal controls, meeting organizational goals, and developing financial plans that support organizational strategy.

Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends and providing actionable insights.
- Conduct financial risk management and ensure appropriate financial controls are in place.
- Support strategic decision-making through financial modeling and analysis
- Manage the annual budget process with departments, monitoring performance and analyzing variances.
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report any variances.
- Oversee internal and external audits, liaise with external stakeholders as required, resolve issues and identify discrepancies.
- Ensure all reporting is compliant with statutory law and financial regulations.
- Optimize and enhance accounting systems and operations.
- Contribute to company financial strategy and decision-making processes.
- Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement within the finance team.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field. MBA would be a plus.
- Effective Communication skills (Proficiency in English Language).
- 7+ years in financial management roles, ideally within the technology or cloud services industry.
- 3+ years of experience leading a team.
- Expertise in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Exceptional numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Deep understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Self-driven, motivated, ability to work independently or as part of a project team with limited supervision.
- Good to have Professional certifications such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), or CMA (Certified Management Accountant).
