Staff Accountant
Dreamscape Learn, a pioneer in the realm of immersive virtual reality entertainment and learning design, is seeking a skilled Staff Accountant to play a crucial role in our financial operations. This dynamic position offers the opportunity to engage in a wide range of accounting and finance tasks. You will assist management by overseeing and actively participating in the administration of accounts receivable and payable, managing the month-end close process, and supporting the company's general accounting activities. Your expertise in applying proper accounting principles will be vital in ensuring accurate financial reporting and contributing to our company's continued success.
Key Responsibilities:
Administration of accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Process bills and post transactions accurately and timely.
Maintain T&E (Travel and Expense) software, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
Perform account reconciliations, including bank, credit card, and general ledger accounts.
Assist in the month-end closing procedures
Develop relationships and collaboration with other departments
Prepare and post journal entries.
Assist with the preparation of financial statements.
Ad Hoc Reporting and analysis as required by management.
Support internal and external audit requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting or similar related field.
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
1-3 years of experience in accounting or similar related role
Proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite experience is a plus)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently (self-starter), and as part of a team
High proficiency in Microsoft Office, and comfortable with Microsoft Excel
CMA or CPA certification preferred

Compensation $67,000 - $75,000 per annum + bonus (DOE)
