Position: Financial Controller (Garment Export)
Location: Kanpur (Primary) & Noida
Experience: 8-15 year in Garment Export
Salary: Negotiable

Key Responsibilities:
Budget Development & Management: Create and enforce detailed budgets that align with the companys financial and operational goals for both the Kanpur and Noida units.
Production Yield & Waste Monitoring: Monitor and report on production yields and waste management in Kanpur and Noida, identifying inefficiencies and implementing mitigation strategies.
Procurement Oversight: Supervise procurement processes for raw materials, stores, and fixed assets across both units, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to budgetary constraints.
Financial Control & Reporting: Implement and maintain robust financial controls to manage and report on financial activities. Prepare monthly reports for the Kanpur and Noida units, comparing actual results against forecasts and addressing any variances.
Collaboration with Operations: Work closely with the operations and procurement departments in Kanpur and Noida to ensure materials and resources are utilized within budget and forecasted levels.
Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis for investment decisions and procurement strategies for both units, providing insights and recommendations to optimize financial performance.
Cost Reduction Initiatives: Develop and lead initiatives to reduce costs and improve efficiency across all areas of manufacturing operations in Kanpur and Noida.
Strategic Financial Leadership: Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization, particularly in the Kanpur and Noida units, such as evaluating potential alliances, suppliers, and mergers or acquisitions.
Qualifications:
Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance; an MBA or equivalent qualification is preferred.
Professional Certification: Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost and Management Accountant (CMA) certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or the Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience in financial management within the manufacturing sector, with a proven track record in a similar role, preferably with experience in managing multiple units.
Financial Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of budgeting, financial forecasting, and cost control principles, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Procurement & Asset Management: Experience in overseeing procurement and asset management within a manufacturing environment, particularly across multiple locations.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial software applications.
Leadership & Communication: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across different locations.
