Role Objective
To provide Finance Support to Business and finance through detailed research and analysis of standard reporting including detailed financial analysis. Drive budgeting & forecasting process to facilitate decision making and support future business strategies.
Principal Expectation
The primary responsibilities of the role (Senior Financial Analyst)
o Provide deliverables / reports in a timely & accurate manner to stakeholders
o Prepare forecast / budget based on Trend analysis and drive expense forecast calls
o Analyze complex spreadsheets and provide an executive summary
o Gain advanced understanding of Business and Business processes
o Support BP Finance Team with complex ad-hoc analysis
o Present KPIs to management / stakeholders
o Demonstrate advanced knowledge of corporate processes like forecast / budget cycle, restatement etc.,
o Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide solutions to management (Eg: CoE Transition)
o Review and sign off process checklist / operating procedures including updates
Additional Responsibilities (Lead Analyst Differentiators)
o Plan for quarter-end & year-end close workload (Revenue / Expense)
o Perform scenario building to enable decision making
o Participate in Departmental / Global Projects; Lead simple projects under regular reviews and guidance; Propose proactive course corrections
o Review reports produced by Financial Analysts
o Train junior members on Oracle systems/tools and hierarchies, support Boot-camp trainings, next level and other such forums
o Conduct root cause analysis on key issues and provide solutions for the same
o Ensure all the project mile stones are met by the team
