Job Description & Summary
A career in Finance, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to help PwC in all aspects of our Finance internal function including financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with overall strategy. You’ll focus on recording and analysing financial transactions, paying and receiving invoices, maintaining financial statement ledger accounts, and preparing analysis and reconciliations of bills to detect fraud.

Job Role: Expertise / Specialist in Tax & Regulatory Compliances.

Position: Senior Manager

Qualification & Experiences: CA with 15+ Years of experiences in Tax & Compliances

Role & Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring all entity level direct & indirect tax compliances during the year.
  • Pursue the open tax matters with the income tax department to take it to logical conclusion.
  • Working closely with the finance leadership and external tax consultants to formulate positions/tax strategy and ensuring its execution working with the team.
  • Supporting special initiatives/tasks/projects from tax point of view.
  • Managing assignments like APA as and when required.
  • Working with global tax team and external consultants to gather opinion/advise so as to decide the best course of action i.e. usually for assessments, appeals etc. but in general even for adhoc requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Ideal candidate should be a Qualified Chartered Accountant (‘CA’) with 15-20 years of experience.
  • Ability to lead a diverse multi-location tax team to drive the organizational strategy on the tax matters.
  • Stakeholder Management: Should be able to independently manage multiple Stakeholders including but not limited to leading calls / meetings, providing regular updates and so on.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with all levels of the Company.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong service focus.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Demonstrated integrity, respect, commitment to excellence, and collaboration skills
  • Exposure to SAP or similar ERP.
