Job Title : Chartered Accountant
Position Overview:
The Chartered Accountant (CA) is a key financial professional who provides expert advice
and services in accounting, taxation, and financial management. The role involves ensuring
compliance with financial regulations, preparing detailed financial reports, and offering
strategic advice to enhance the financial health of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Reporting:
o Prepare and review financial statements and reports in accordance with accounting standards and regulations.
o Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial information.
2. Audit and Assurance:
o Conduct internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls.
o Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits and provide
necessary documentation and support.
3. Taxation:
o Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and
regulations.
o Advise on tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize
financial performance.
4. Financial Analysis:
o Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for
improvement.
o Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to support
decision-making.
5. Compliance and Regulation:
o Ensure adherence to financial regulations, standards, and company policies.
o Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and accounting standards.
6. Budgeting and Forecasting:
o Develop and monitor budgets and financial forecasts.
o Analyze budget variances and provide recommendations for corrective
actions.
7. Advisory Services:
o Offer strategic financial advice to management on business planning, risk
management, and investment decisions.
o Assist with financial planning and analysis to support organizational goals.
8. Record Keeping:
o Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
o Implement and manage accounting systems and procedures.
Qualifications:
ï• Education: Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Masterâs
degree is preferred.
ï• Certification: Chartered Accountant (CA) designation from a recognized
professional body (e.g., ICAEW, CPA, ACCA).
Skills:
o Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
o Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
o Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
o Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
