Reporting into the CFO, you will take full control and responsibility over all areas of financial and manufacturing analytics. This individual will be involved in budgeting, forecasting, & reporting for all areas of the business. You will also drive continuous process improvements and partner with senior leaders across various disciplines to provide key financial analysis to support the business' growth. Client Details

Reaching out today as I'm partnered with the CFO at a global, multi-million dollar manufacturer. Due to the massive growth they have been experiencing, both organically & acquisitively, they are looking to bring on an Accountant to join their team!

Partnering alongside the US Controller, you will gain mentorship & exposure to all aspects of the accounting and finance function. This individual will be responsible with assisting various accounting functions including month-end, consolidations, reconciliations, and more! In addition, you will also receive mentorship and development from the team, and gain exposure to the finance side by assisting in the forecasting and budgeting process.

Description
  • Formulate, update, and present diverse reports and evaluations, encompassing sales, production, and pricing aspects.
  • Oversee the management of inventories for finished goods, raw materials, and spare parts, involving reconciling material variances, conducting weekly/monthly counts, and overseeing annual physical inventory.
  • Monitor and report on productivity, analyze capacity, and conduct studies on capital expenditures.
  • Collaborate with Production and Quality teams to establish and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Deliver monthly board presentations and actively participate in budgeting, forecasting, and quarterly financial projections.
  • Provide support to operational management and various key departments within the organization.
  • Engage in financial modeling activities to enhance strategic decision-making.
  • Aid purchasing personnel through initiatives like identifying process improvements, demand planning, and participating in contract negotiations.
  • Execute monthly bank reconciliations, commission reporting, and sales reporting, while also managing weekly cash forecasting.
  • Facilitate weekly cash ACH payments and conduct monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Undertake ad hoc reporting and contribute to special projects as required.

Profile
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Operations, or Supply Chain
  • 3+ years of accounting experience
  • Manufacturing industry or relevant industry
  • Inventory analysis a huge plus
  • Experience in Job Costing & Pricing
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel)
  • Strong business partnering and communication skills
  • Attention to detail with a focus on results
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems
