Client Details

We are working with a Components Manufacturer based in Stoughton, MA looking for a Financial Controller to manage multiple locations/businesses. This is a key hire for the expanding business who have a well-established client base and revenue stream. It is an Individual Contributor Controller role but a key leadership position nonetheless - reporting directly to the Company CFO and having daily interactions with the Company President. Description

The Financial Controller is responsible for the monthly financial close, preparing and reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, and preparing monthly consolidated financial statements.

Detailed Responsibilities Include:

  • Leading the financial close and reporting process, including preparation of journal entries and reconciliations for assigned GL accounts /areas.
  • Perform account reconciliation reviews, ensuring Company accounting processes are accurate and in accordance with US-GAAP.
  • Monitor the status of key close deadlines and provide updates to CFO and leadership team of any issues, delays.
  • Prepare monthly US-GAAP financial statements packages, including KPI metrics and trend analysis.
  • Ensure revenue recognition standards are met.
  • Corporate governance of global chart of accounts, cost centers, and month-end close procedures
  • Improve/upgrade the current ERP system in place
  • Additional projects and responsibilities


Profile
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Related Degree
  • Master's Degree and/or CPA - nice to have, but not essential
  • 10 - 15 + years of Accounting tenure
  • Manufacturing Industry Career Track Record Essential
  • Ability to work on-site 5 days per week

Job Offer
  • Base Salary Range: $140,000 - $155,000
