Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Controller to join our team. As a Senior Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our organization, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. This is a key leadership role that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate financial information to stakeholders. Duties: - Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting - Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements - Conduct budgeting and forecasting activities to support strategic planning and decision-making processes - Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions - Oversee the preparation of payroll and ensure compliance with relevant regulations - Manage accounts receivable activities, including invoicing and collections - Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements and participate in internal and external audits - Provide financial analysis and insights to support business performance evaluation - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and enhance financial management practices - Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation preferred - Proven experience as a Senior Controller or similar role in a complex organization - Strong knowledge of budgeting, financial management principles, and double-entry bookkeeping - Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills - Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data - Solid understanding of payroll processes and regulations - Experience with balance sheet reconciliation and financial report writing - Knowledge of SOX compliance requirements is highly desirable - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting - Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly We offer competitive compensation packages based on qualifications and experience. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29.00 - $39.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
