Description
- Lead the Accounting and Finance function for CT based Manufacturing/Engineering Company
- Monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting and manages the team responsible for month end close
- Partner with Executive Level Leadership and Department Heads with in-depth financial forecasting and business analytics
- Responsible for making recommendations for continuous improvement in company operations.
- Identify opportunities for increased profitability by improving job costing.
- Provide Investors with reporting including detailed metrics related to cash, sales, and monthly reporting summary covering business results and future opportunities.
- Continued development of budgeting, financial forecasting, and operating plans.
- Analyze current and past trends with KPIs including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures and more
- Provides counsel on financial considerations for both existing and new initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with financial and taxation regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate year-end audit and business tax return with External CPA and Tax Firm
- Oversight of IT/Technology Division and driving strategic decisions and implementations of business systems.
Profile
- CPA (preferred not essential)
- Master's Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance (preferred not essential)
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Related Degree - Must Have
- 10 + years of Finance Leadership tenure within the Manufacturing Sector
- Prior ERP Systems Implementation working knowledge
