Job Summary:

Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Keeping:

  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
    • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.

  • Financial Reporting:
    • Prepare financial statements, reports, and schedules for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial reports.
  • Compliance:
    • Stay informed about relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
    • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
  • Audit Support:
    • Facilitate and participate in internal and external audits.
    • Prepare audit schedules and respond to auditor inquiries.
  • Taxation:
    • Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
    • Provide support during tax audits.
  • Financial Analysis:
    • Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
    • Identify trends, areas of improvement, and opportunities for cost savings.
  • Financial Systems and Software:

    • Ensure the integrity and security of financial data.
  • Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and provide insights.
    • Communicate financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify and implement process improvements in the accounting and financial reporting functions.
    • Stay current with industry trends and best practices.

    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is often preferred.
    • Proven experience in accounting or related roles.
    • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Strong understanding of accounting principles, regulations, and financial reporting.
