Role : Finance Manager

Level : T1

Location : Mumbai

Job Purpose/Overview

• Develops overall growth and earnings frameworks and driving activities to improve financial performance with
  
• sustainable growth (e.g., pack profitability, Channel Profitability etc.)
  
• Responsible for co-piloting of cross-functional activity teams responsible for driving growth and profitability and
  
• providing in-depth financial analysis and recommendations for business activities with special focus on ROI.
  
• Responsible for co-piloting the Sales Leadership providing financial leadership and decision support to achieve
  
• profitable growth; analyzes sales activities and recommends best utilization of Sales-controllable funds to drive
  
• ROI on Trade spends.
  
• Responsibilities also include managing the overall governance and control framework for the Unit and
  
• work closely with the regional governance team.
  
• Establish control and governance from demand forecasting, accruals, final clearance.
  

Job Responsibilities

Lead strategic revenue management initiatives to improve sales, Mix and profitability in the Trade.
Lead the governance / internal controls with respect to Trade activities.
Serve as the Finance Co-pilot, partnering with Demand Leadership and Account teams to drive profitable sales
growth in the customer accounts including management of the Trade spends/ expenditure.
Lead the monthly performance reports and manages account and channel P&L’s to deliver optimal sales and
profit delivery.
Partner with Sales team to obtain and maintain an in-depth knowledge of customer and channel strategies,
risks and opportunities, promotional activities and financial metrics. Recommends how to optimally deploy
the sales specific resources to best meet the needs of the business
Lead the Working capital management initiatives for the Unit [including inventory and AR forecasts]

Job Specifications / Qualifications

Education & Professonal Qualifications

• CA / MBA in Finance
  
• 3+ years of relevant experience in finance business partnering / internal controls.
  
• MNC experience would be a plus.
  

Knowledge/Experience

• Strong credibility with stakeholders, able to influence and challenge to achieve results.
