CGRC's Controller is a member of the executive team, responsible for financial reporting including financial statements, program performance reports, budget, & tax filings. The Controller maintains financial accounting systems, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, & cash receipts.

Additional key responsibilities include:
- Direct performance of Accounting team.
- Complete fiscal period closings including preparation of financial statements and associated reports.
- Preparation of annual budget for fee-for-service programs and cost-reimbursed county programs and reconciliation of budget to actual results monthly.
- Annual calculation of cost per hour of service for all fee-for-service billed programs, and submission of requests for increase in rates when applicable. Ensure submissions of rate requests by each managed care organization's deadline.
- Manage grant and contract funding, including proposal development, budgeting, reporting and compliance. Coordinate with program teams to ensure accurate tracking of expenditures and adherence to third party payors and donor requirements.
- All tax reporting, including payroll and annual 990.
- Review all fiscal policy and procedure documents to ensure integrity and effectiveness.
- Coordinate with Billing Manager regarding monthly interface of billing system revenue and manual billing which results in revenue recognition.
- Review monthly general ledger account analysis and supporting documentation. Monthly review of accounts receivable to subsidiary billing reports. Review aged receivables with billing manager.
- Prepare accurate and timely reports for Finance Committee, Board of Directors, CEO and Management including financial statements and performance measures.
- Ensure accuracy of all accounting and billing system mapping, to ensure the accuracy of the financial reporting.
- Maintain statistics for allocation of expenses in accordance with government accounting standards.
- Meet regularly with the CEO and Executive team to review organization operations and activities.
