A result-driven position to handle the financial reporting function of the company.
Job responsibilities will include managing accounting records, evaluating, and managing risk, ensuring compliance with regulations, and preparation of standalone and consolidated financial results on a monthly/quarterly and annual basis based on IND AS accounting, Schedule -III, SEBI LODR, or any other applicable provisions.

The candidate will be responsible for making a closing calendar for book closing and following up with peer and plant teams for correct and timely receipt of required information for the preparation of financial results. The candidate should capable to have close coordination with auditors for the smooth closing of audits/limited reviews.

Principal Accountabilities:-
  • Preparation and finalization of Accounts & Reporting of the Listed Company’s Financial Statements and its subsidiaries
  • To deal and liaison with CFOs of foreign subsidiaries for information required for the preparation of consolidated financials and related work papers
  • Take ownership of the Group’s multi-currency consolidation process for both monthly internal management and statutory purposes
  • Managing and extends required support on day to day accounting operations
  • Oversees internal, external, and regulatory audit processes
  • Maintaining accounting controls by designing and implementing policies and procedures
  • Ensure implementation of audit findings
  • Maintaining and updating the audit work papers and back-up papers for all important points from closing perspective
  • Initiate & follow up on IT initiatives including ERP implementations
Key Competencies Required :

Audit and assurance
  • Advises on and effectively communicates the role and scope of audit and assurance engagements to relevant stakeholders.
  • Applies regulatory, legal, professional, and ethical standards relating to audit and assurance engagements.
  • Plans and prepares for audit and assurance engagements.
  • Performs effective audit, and assurance engagements.
  • Reviews and reports on the findings of audit and assurance engagements.
  • Guiding efficient and effective operations.
Statutory Reporting :
  • A. Prepares financial statements, corporate financials, and integrated reports for external stakeholders using appropriate technology.
  • B. Leads effective decision-making through analyzing, evaluating, and communicating the performance and position of entities.
  • C. Prepares financial statements for groups of entities using appropriate technologies.
  • D. Monitors, critically evaluates and advises on the relevant accounting standards, regulations, conceptual and financial reporting frameworks
Data, digital, and technology :
  • Identifies strategic options to add value, using data and technology.
  • Analyses and evaluates data using appropriate technologies and tools.
  • Applies technologies to visualize data clearly and effectively.
  • Applies skepticism and ethical judgment to the use of data and data technology.
The successful Applicant :
  • CA with 6+ years of experience
  • Candidates with prior experience from Big4 Audit firms or firms of similar repute
  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills.
  • Full-fledged experience of drafting financial statements.
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing process
  • Thorough knowledge of financial modeling, accounting, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), IND AS, and Schedule -III.
  • Strong Excel and software experience
  • Analytical ability to develop and implement improvements or recommendations. Credible track record of meeting tight deadlines with accuracy, integrity, and a sense of calm with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment, manage priorities, and consistently meet deadlines.
