The successful candidate will join the BAS (business activity statement) reporting and reconciliation team as a Senior Associate and will be closely working with Client Service Managers based in Singapore and Australia regions in connection with the performance of duties related to the BAS report preparation and reconciliation process.

The successful candidate will join the BAS (business activity statement) reporting and reconciliation team as a Senior Associate and will be closely working with Client Service Managers based in Singapore and Australia regions in connection with the performance of duties related to the BAS report preparation and reconciliation process.
Role
To give you an idea of how this Senior Associate (BAS reporting) role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:
- Review/prepare the BAS Reconciliations on a monthly/quarterly basis using accounting reports in Microsoft excel
- Derive actual realized gain and loss and interest income from PNL to report in BAS reconciliation
- Calculate the actual GST paid and GST receivable from ATO for BAS lodgement
- Review all the fund's expenses with actual invoices and ensure correct values are accounted for GST receivables, if any
- Postgraduate in Commerce, MBA Finance, CA/CMA/CFA
- Minimum three years of Hedge/Mutual fund reconciliation and break resolution or minimum five years of accounting experience
- Experience with reconciliation and reconciliation and, with demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy, analytical, technical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in advanced Excel functions
