Arundel Lodge, Inc. is a fifteen million dollar behavioral health agency located in Edgewater, MD. Our mission is to improve the lives of children, adults, and families impacted by mental health and substance use disorders. We are seeking an Assistant Controller to become an important part of our team. Applicant must have a BA in Accounting, Finance, or related field and two years accounting experience in a non-profit.

Responsibilities include;
- Performs and oversees all aspects of bi-weekly payroll process.
- Process 401K enrollments
- Perform account analysis and reconciliation
- Prepare monthly closing
- Prepare financial statements
- Oversee leave database
- Maintain payroll records
- Assist in audit preparation
- Prepare and reconcile tax withholding reports
- Produce W-2's
- Assist in annual budget preparation
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of accounting and finance principles
- Understanding of government guidelines and tax laws that affect the agency
- Organized with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in ADP, and SAGE Intact Software are preferred.
- Teamwork skills
