POSITION OVERVIEW:
Apollo is seeking a strong finance professional to join the Strategic Finance (SF) function which is part of the Finance Organization. Strategic Finance is responsible for the firm financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, Senior Management reporting, profitability analysis and other strategic analysis work. The Analyst position is structured to provide exposure across all disciplines of Strategic Finance and build a comprehensive knowledge of Apollo s businesses and the alternative asset management industry.

Apollo is seeking a strong finance professional to join the Strategic Finance (SF) function which is part of the Finance Organization. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Consolidated & Business segment Reporting, Budgeting and Forecasting
- Generates monthly and quarterly financial reporting tracking actuals vs. budget / forecast for key metrics working with Finance, Business, other departments, and regions (Private Equity, Real Estate, APAC, EMEA)
- Produces monthly and quarter department materials
- Analyses data for annual budget, long-term plan and monthly forecasts
- Maintains detailed and flexible models supporting annual budget, long-term plan and monthly forecast, including variance analysis
- Significant amount of financial modeling on current and potential business initiatives
- Responds quickly to pecial projects involving financial analytics and trend analysis
Qualifications & Experience
- 3-6 years of financial analysis experience (CA, CFA preferred)
- Demonstrated knowledge of accounting and experience in Financial Analysis
- Exposure to complex organizational structures
- Highly analytical; Excellent Excel-based modeling skills are required
- Strong PowerPoint presentation skills are required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Flexible and comfortable working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
- Operates with high energy and a can do attitude with top-tier work ethic
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
