Job Title: Senior Finance Analyst

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Analyst with a strong background in the SAAS (Software as a Service) industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in accounting practices, financial analysis, and advanced proficiency in Excel. This role requires a meticulous professional who can handle complex financial data, provide insightful analysis, and support the financial operations of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for India and the US.
  
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis and interpret financial data to provide actionable insights.
  

Accounting Operations:

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
  
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
  
• Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts.
  
• Maintain and update fixed asset registers.
  

SAAS-Specific Financial Management:

• Understand and manage revenue recognition for SAAS products.
  
• Analyze key SAAS metrics such as MRR, ARR, churn rate, and customer lifetime value.
  
• Work closely with the sales and customer success teams to align financial goals with business objectives.
  

Internal Controls and Compliance:

• Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
  
• Conduct internal audits and coordinate with external auditors.
  

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Collaborate with finance teams across regions to ensure alignment and consistency.
  
• Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and support.
  
• Assist in the integration of financial systems and processes across regions.
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum Full Time B.COM or M. COM mandatory (Inter CA Preferred)
  
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting/financial analysis, preferably within the SAAS industry.
  
• Expert-level proficiency in Excel.
  
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and GAAP.
  
• Analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  
• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho, NetSuite).
  
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Preferred location (Mumbai)
  
• This position is not suitable for Chartered Accountants (CAs). Candidates with other relevant qualifications and experience are encouraged to apply.
  

Additional Skills (Preferred):

• Knowledge of SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  
• Familiarity with SAAS business models and key performance metrics.
  
• Experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
