Finance Controller will support the Group CFO in driving financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis, while overseeing the preparation of financial reports and ensuring compliance with regulations. The individual should be strong in analytical skills, strategic thinking, and have effective communication to collaborate across departments and consolidate Group Financial.

Description

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for the accurate and timely financial reporting, including month-end and year-end reports.
  • Tracking and analysing costs, reviewing cost centre reports, and taking action on cases exceeding the budget. Digitisation of overall cost control process.
  • Actively involved in continuous improvement projects and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Assisting in the development of business plans, strategic decision making, and providing advice to executive management
  • Developing and managing the financial budget and forecasts, ensuring that the company's financial goals are met.
  • Partner with site and functional leaders to prepare forecasts and identify associated risks and opportunities.
  • Analysing financial data, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending actions to improve financial performance.

Profile

Successful Candidate Should Have

  • MBA/CA/CMA qualification
  • 5-10 years of experience in working in a manufacturing setup
  • Strong Financial and accounting knowledge including an understanding of finance best practices.
  • Possesses fair knowledge and understanding of application of financial concepts, analysis of financial data for mergers and acquisition opportunities and evaluation of investment strategies
  • Strong planning skills, coupled with strong analytical and execution skills
  • Able to identify problems and perform real-time resolution by deciding on the correct course of action
  • Recommend enhancements that improve reporting or forecasting
  • Experience with financial planning & reporting tools.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with teams at various levels throughout the organisation to drive meaningful change in the business
  • Ability to communicate and present results to different audiences at various levels throughout the organisation
  • Ability to provide direction and leadership to the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence
